The VR Reels are the latest evolution of Van Staal spinning reels. Fully sealed, with a lightweight 6061 aluminum construction, and a powerful waterproof drag system. They come from the factory with a bail and a bailless conversion kit so you can fish them however you like.

    You will never own a workhorse like a Van Staal VR125. What a great reel, the fish can’t stand a chance!

    As sweet as my dreams!

    I replaced my customized Penn 710 today….

    The VS 50 has the guts on the occasional cow and the simple pleasure that only comes with a legacy of class and balance
